Ad measurement

We advertise on Reddit. To see whether those ads work, this site loads the Reddit Pixel, which uses a Reddit cookie to report page visits and when someone copies an install command. Visitors in Europe, the UK included, are asked first, and nothing from Reddit loads until they accept.

If you arrived from one of our Reddit ads and then create an account, our server tells Reddit Ads that the account was created and, later, that the plugin was connected. It sends Reddit's click ID from the ad link, one-way hashes of your email address, account ID and IP address, and your browser's user agent. It never sends anything from your memory, your code or your conversations. Accounts that did not come from a Reddit ad are never reported.
